SUMMARY:Vermont Creek Invasive Removal
DESCRIPTION:SOLV\, West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District\, and area homeowners are working to enhance the Vermont Creek basin. Volunteers will remove non-native invasive plants to prepare for future planting of native trees and shrubs in the area. Over time\, this work will improve water quality\, create wildlife habitat and store carbon to slow climate change. SOLV will provide all tools and gloves for this project. Advance registration is appreciated but not required.
