Do you wish the bus ran later or more frequently? Would you like to take transit to work, school, appointments or recreation? If so, TriMet planners need to hear from you!
The Southwest Corridor Plan will hold a community planning forum on Nov. 6 that will focus on future local bus service improvements in Southwest Portland, Tigard, Tualatin, King City, Sherwood, Durham, Lake Oswego and West Linn. This event is an important opportunity for TriMet to hear your thoughts about ways to improve near- and long-term transit service. You'll have a chance to work in small groups with other citizens to share your ideas and learn from others. This is all part of creating a plan for local bus service improvements in the Southwest Corridor, which is one of the first actions to come out of the Southwest Corridor Plan.
You'll also hear a status update on plans for high capacity transit in the corridor and find out about the next steps in the process and how you can be involved. Whether you're new to the planning process, or a seasoned participant, you are invited to bring your ideas to the table.
