Walk There! event series - Fanno Creek history walk
Explore the Fanno Creek Greenway Trail in Tigard. This two hour trek from Metro's Walk There! guide book takes walkers on a section of the trail that offers great views of the creek as it meanders through three city parks and other nature areas. Check out the natural beauty and the habitat that is home to birds, fish and other critters. Local author Laura Foster will share information about the creek's past as well as the restoration efforts to preserve and protect the creek for decades to come.
