But how exactly is the Portland metropolitan area doing in terms of health? What are our issues? How are health disparities spread throughout the region? Bring your (healthy) lunch and come find out!
Nancy Stevens, director of community benefits at Kaiser Permanente and Phil Wu, physician director for community health, have mapped some of the disease patterns of the Kaiser Permanente membership in the Portland metropolitan area. They will be sharing these maps and discuss some of their early findings as they continue to work with the Coalition for a Livable Future to correlate the maps to those from the Regional Equity Atlas.
